  • Dyson Direct Return Policy for Machines

    To return a Dyson.com machine purchase for a full refund, you need to return the machine within 30 days* from the delivery date. For machine purchases made at a Dyson Demo Store or Dyson Service Center, a return must be made within 30 days from the purchase date. Dyson Direct will pay for return shipping.

    *This policy excludes wearable devices such as Dyson Zone and Dyson OnTrac. Dyson headphones have a 14-day refund policy from the shipped delivery date. If purchased in a Dyson Demo Store or Service Center, a return must be made within 14 days from the purchase date. Dyson Direct will pay for return shipping.

    The Dyson outlet's refurbished machines and Final Sale machines (including Dyson Airwrap first generation) are final sale and are not eligible for returns. They are only eligible for warranty service. If your machine arrived damaged or you have received the wrong product, please contact us.

    Intentional cosmetic decoration or modification that may impact a machine’s resale, refurbishment, restoration or usability will void the terms of the Dyson return policy.

    If you wish to return any machine purchased from Dyson Direct, please contact our toll-free Contact Center at 1-866-MY-DYSON (1-866-693-9766) or submit the above form prior to returning your merchandise.

    To receive a full refund for a machine purchased from Dyson Direct, please follow these three steps:

    • Call the Contact Center to initiate your return and to identify the correct return shipping address and method.
    • Package the item(s) to be returned in the original Dyson packaging.
    • Send your returned item(s) shipping prepaid to Dyson within the time frames specified above. Unauthorized COD will not be accepted.

    If you send miscellaneous items to Dyson, please notify us as soon as possible. If you have not claimed your item(s) and paid any associated charges due within sixty (60) days after Dyson’s receipt of your item(s), Dyson reserves the right to consider your item(s) abandoned. If possible, Dyson will provide notice to you regarding your item(s) at the e-mail contact address on file. If Dyson does not hear from you within sixty (60) days after Dyson’s receipt of your item(s), Dyson reserves the right to dispose of your item(s) in accordance with applicable provisions of law. Dyson reserves its statutory and any other lawful liens for unpaid charges.

    Please allow 4-8 weeks for return processing. Machines returned to Dyson Direct will receive a full refund and Dyson Direct will pay for the return shipping. Please note Dyson reserves the right to reject return requests in cases of suspected or actual fraud or abuse of the return policy.

    At Dyson, we stand behind our products and quality controls. If you are not satisfied with a Dyson formulation product you purchased from the Dyson website, you may request a refund or replacement product within 60 days of the date of purchase.  The Guarantee is limited to original, end-user purchasers in the United States.

    How To Claim the Guarantee

    To submit a Guarantee request, please call our toll-free Contact Center at 1-866-MY-DYSON (1-866-693-9766) and have your Dyson.com order information available, along with the reason for your dissatisfaction. You may also be asked to submit photos of your product or its packaging, mail the unused portion of your product to Dyson, or provide other information to assist Dyson in processing your request.

     

    You must submit your Guarantee request within 60 days of the date of original purchase. Please note that you are responsible for costs incurred in mailing your product and proof of purchase.
